History
Providing a home for over 20 years
A little history…
Foyer Beauséjour is affiliated with Profilia, a Catholic association founded more than 120 years ago. Over the years, it has had several names: Foyer de la Jeune Fille and later Home du Bon Conseil. Under both names, it welcomed young women exclusively, mainly those in need or seeking protection and support.
Today, Foyer Beauséjour welcomes young women and men of all faiths from all over the world. Whether studying at the University or at another higher education institution, they find a living environment that encourages exchange, openness and solidarity.
In this way, Foyer Beauséjour aims to preserve and sustain its human and social dimension, faithful to the spirit of welcome and support that has inspired it since its beginnings.
Facilities
Residents also have access to:
- a large and a small kitchen
- a games room with a pool table and table football
- a television room
- a study room opening onto the garden
- a reading room opening onto the garden
- a dance and gymnastics room
- a laundry room for personal laundry and ironing
- a secure bicycle storage room
- a garden
